Tesla Model 3 vs BYD Seal EV Review Drag Racing
Most EV fans are familiar with the new Tesla Model 3 refresh, but just how does it stack up against the BYD Seal? Mat Watson of Carwow wanted to find out, so he pit both vehicles against each other in an EV drag racing showdown and review.



First up, we have the Tesla Model 3 LR, which boasts a dual-electric motor AWD configuration generating 483 hp and 361 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to hit 60 mph in a zippy 4.2 seconds while topping out at an electronically limited 125 mph. As for the BYD Seal, you’re looking at the dual-motor, AWD Performance model making 523 hp and 494 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to reach 60 mph in a mere 3.8 seconds. Let’s just say that both vehicles are quite evenly matched.
