CUPRA DarkRebel Electric Shooting Brake
Sleek and stylish, the CUPRA DarkRebel electric shooting brake looks like something from a science fiction movie, but this two-seat sports car made its public debut at the Munich Motor Show this week. Its central spine connects the front and the rear of the CUPRA DarkRebel, while its fluid character of the dark violet tone evolves and changes depending on how environmental light touches the body.

Step inside, and you’ll first notice the central spine with its asymmetrical shapes, lightness, as well as sculptural appearance. It was fabricated using the latest 3D metal printing technology, thus not only providing structural performance with maximum lightness, but also embracing the driver. The Supersport bucket seats feature headrests covered with 3D knitting fabric, which are supported by a structure made from a crystal-clear transparent material as well as copper inserts. There’s no word yet on pricing or availability.

Thanks to the passion and creativity of the CUPRA Tribe, we have been able to turn one of our most powerful obsessions into a real showcar. The CUPRA DarkRebel is the maximum provocation of CUPRA design. It is a rebel with a purpose: to prove that electric cars in the future can be sporty, sexy, and emotional,” said Wayne Griffiths, CEO of CUPRA.
