Ever wonder how the Tesla Model 3 Performance, Model Y Performance, Model X Plaid, and Model S Plaid stack up against each other? If so, Mat Watson of CarWow also had the same thing on his mind. So, he pit all of the current Tesla models against each other in the ultimate non-Elon Musk sponsored drag racing showdown.
Starting off with the Model S / X Plaid, both vehicles boast a tri-motor setup generating 1,020 hp and 1,047 lb-ft of torque, which makes them the two fastest. Then we have the Model 3 / Y Performance sporting a dual electric motor setup generating 527 hp and 486 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to hit 60 mph in 3.1 seconds. Let’s just say that if you want the fastest Tesla currently available, there’s no better option than the Model S Plaid. However, if you need slightly more room, then the Model X Plaid is the next best thing.
