Recent images from Maranello reveal a real head-turner, a Ferrari that defies their traditional formula. The SF90 XX Stradale has an eye-catching paint job in a high gloss finish called Verde Volterra. This isn’t a new color by any means, but it was initially introduced in 2022 for a special batch of Cavalcade cars to commemorate the tour’s 10-year anniversary. The paint was inspired by the deep green tones and earthy tints found across the Tuscan region, hence the name.
The light captures this automobile in a very interesting way. From certain angles, it appears to be a rich, deep green, but as you walk around it, the metallic gold begins to shine through, providing a sense of movement that a solid hue cannot match. Ferrari used a four-layer paint job to accomplish this look, and the end result is a true showstopper with cutting-edge technology that is also very Italian.

Ferrari went all out on this vehicle as part of their Tailor Made program for a very special customer. They wanted to offer this client a car that truly reflected their personality, so they left the carbon fibre visible in critical spots. So you can see the raw weaving of the carbon on the center of the hood, as well as the large back wing. That raw carbon contrasts beautifully with the magnificent Nocciola Met 2021 finish, which Ferrari uses for the hood vents, pinstripes on the front fenders, doors, and rear quarters, and even the wing end plates.
The car’s number 21 is displayed on the doors in matching Nocciola lettering, indicating that it is one of 799 SF90 XX Stradale vehicles available globally. The rest of the automobile is relatively simple, with the dark wheels drawing all attention to the stunning green and gold paintwork.
This thing is a beast in terms of performance, with the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine and three electric motors combining to produce an impressive 1,016 horsepower and 593 pound-feet of torque. However, Ferrari didn’t just stop with the engine; they also improved the aerodynamics to shed a few pounds, and the wheels and seats are lighter. They claim a 2.3-second sprint to 60 mph, 6.5 seconds to 124 mph, and a maximum speed of 199 mph. The finest aspect is that the hybrid system is lightning quick, while the V8 delivers the raw emotion that Ferrari is known for.
Ferrari attempted to strike a balance within the car by combining textures and restraint. Warm Alcantara surfaces are combined with deep JX Ultrasuede Black pieces, and the Sella and black Serafil stitching completes the style. If that wasn’t enough, the Cavallino Rampante symbol is delicately embroidered in black Madeira Polyneon thread. And then there’s the stunning carbon fibre that runs through the door panels and transmission tunnel, which is a true work of art.
