It’s official, the Dubai Police Force has added a Lucid Air Grand Touring to their fleet. Power comes from dual electric motors making 819 hp and 885 lb-ft of torque, enabling the EV to hit 60 mph in a mere 3.0 seconds.
Sure, it has a top speed of only 168 mph, but the Lucid Air Grand Touring does get up to 512 miles on a single charge of its 112.0-kWh capacity battery, thus evening things out. Most importantly, it can charge to 200 miles of range in just 12 minutes. We have a feeling that this vehicle will not be used for any chases, but more so administrative duties for transportation between government buildings.
