Limited to just 40-units worldwide and priced at a whopping $3.5-million, the Pagani Huayra Roadster BC is sure to sell out quick. Why? For starters, this 2,685-pound hypercar is powered by a twin-turbocharged 6.0L AMG V12 generating 791 horsepower and 774 pound-feet of torque, mated to a seven-speed Xtrac sequential gearbox with a lightweight single clutch, which by the way, is 35-percent lighter than the traditional dual-clutch setup.
Not just a rocket in a straight line, Pagani claims the Roaster BC generates an insane 1.9Gs of max lateral force when cornering – the Bugatti Chiron only makes 1.5Gs of max grip. The Pirelli PZero Trofeo R tires it comes equipped with are part of the reason since they’re designed specifically for extreme stickiness.
Pagani hasn’t released an official 0-60 mph time, but considering the coupe reaches it in about 2.5-seconds, it’s safe to say that this model should at least match it. Want to be the first to see it in person? You’ll need to stop by Monterey Car Week, which runs from August 9 – 18.
