Industrial designer was intrigued by Sony’s new DualSense controller for the PlayStation 5 and wondered what a matching console would look like. It didn’t take him long to come up with the Sony PlayStation 5 “Black Edition”, which keeps things simple. Featuring a disk drive two USB ports up top, while the rear boasts aLAN, HDMI, USB, power, SPDIF and AUX ports.
Cold air is drawn into to the console from the top and two rows of ventilation holes are provided push warm air out. Plus, by placing the game console on small legs, the air can also be pushed through vents at the bottom. Other features include a blue LED that is placed around the console that glows while you’re playing and matches the DualSense’s touchpad. Will the actual console look like this? We’ll keep you posted as Sony may officially reveal it this summer.
