What if you could check your temperature and get a blood test at home? Introducing OZE by Anshuman Kumar. This handheld device uses infrared technologies to measure temperature and uses a micro LED display to show that information, along with air quality as well as weather. How do infrared thermometers work? The use a lens to focus infrared light from one object onto a detector called a thermopile, which then absorbs the infrared radiation and turns it into heat. This electricity is sent to a detector, which uses it to determine the temperature of whatever it’s pointed at.

Italy-based design studio Designlibero conceptualized a new and innovative piece of protective equipment to help one prevent the spread of COVID-19, and it’s called “Bubble Shield”. Simply put, it’s design to act as a physical barrier in public spaces and made from thermic-welded Etfe. It consists of two halves, which are connected by a zipper, for quick and easy access.
Design students Sum Ming Wong and Kin Pong Li from Hong Kong were inspired by the SARS outbreak in 2004 to create a self-sanitizing door handle that doesn’t require any manual work. Put simply, the glass tube handle sports aluminum caps at each end, all covered in a powdered photocatalytic coating made from titanium dioxide.

This means that you either had to use your passcode or simply remove the mask altogether, but there is a solution.
Stanford Medicine partnered with Apple to release a new app, called the First Responder COVID-19 Guide, which helps first responders screen their symptoms and, if needed, schedule a testing. By using the screening portion of the app, first responders are able to complete a questionnaire about their symptoms, exposure to the coronavirus and medical history.
