Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor Shows Off its Capabilities in Amazing 4K Video

Lockheed Martin’s F-22 Raptor is a sight to behold in the skies, and what better way to see some of its capabilities than in a 4K video. This single-seat, twin-engine, all-weather stealth tactical fighter aircraft was developed for the United States Air Force (USAF), powered by dual Pratt & Whitney F119-PW-100 augmented turbofan engines, with each producing a maximum thrust in the 35,000 lbf class. It can achieve Mach 1.8 at maximum speed without external stores and greater than Mach 2 with afterburners.

U.S. Space Force Logo and Motto Officially Revealed

The U.S. Space Force officially revealed its logo this week, and the military announced that its motto is “semper supra,” or “always above.” This represents the Air Foce service branch’s role in establishing, maintaining and preserving U.S. freedom of operations in the space domain. Sure, it may look like the Star Trek logo, but in reality, the delta was first used in space organizations as early as 1961 and inspired generations of industry professionals.

GM Wins $214-Million Contract to Provide Colorado ZR2-Based Infantry Squad Vehicle (ISV) for US Army

GM Defense won a $214.3-million contract to build, field and sustain the US Army’s new Infantry Squad Vehicle (ISV). Based on the 2020 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 midsize truck, the ISV aims to provide rapid ground mobility and is essentially a light as well as agile all-terrain troop carrier. It can be sling loaded from a UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter and is even compact enough to fit inside a CH-47 Chinook helicopter.

FLIR Systems Wins $39.6M United States Army Contract to Deliver Black Hornet Nano UAV Systems

FLIR Systems has won a $39.6-million contract to deliver FLIR Black Hornet Personal Reconnaissance Systems (PRS) in support of the United States Army. These miniature drones will support platoon as well as small unit level surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities as part of the Soldier Borne Sensor (SBS) Program.

However, this UTV (utility vehicle) can be purchased by civilians and used to go off-road or even rock crawling. Available in TX4 (4-seat), TX3 (2-seat) with a large tray, or TX5 (2-seat) that has a smaller tray as well as a shorter wheelbase, all of the models are built on a welded-up steel frame chassis designs that incorporates a roll cage, aluminum skid tray underside protection the entire underside, and adjustable four-wheel independent suspension.
