An Oppo rollable smartphone may be coming in 2022, or at least according to a utility patent, titled “display device”, that was published by the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO) on November 4, 2021. The sketches show how the expandable display would work.

Oppo Mobile Telecommunications received patent approval on May 4, 2021 from the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO) for “Method for assembling and disassembling electronic equipment”. The sketches detail a dual-sided smartphone of sorts with a wraparound flexible screen.

You’ve probably seen plenty of foldable smartphones in recent times, but the OPPO Reno Flip 5G has a design unlike the competition. The company filed a utility patent with the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) for a ‘foldable terminal’, and it was published on September 3, 2020. This mobile phone would have a rotating hinge with gears, along with a pair of cover plates that allow the housing to slide out.
The OPPO Find X2 Pro smartphone has been officially unveiled, and it’s a doozy.
