Holographic displays have been around for quite some time, and it’s basically one that utilizes light diffraction to create a virtual three-dimensional image. Unlike standard 3D displays, they do not require you to wear any special glasses or external equipment to see the image. Samsung has taken this to the next level with their slim-panel holographic 4K display prototype. This cutting edge model can be viewed from various angles and outputs images in 4K resolution.

Samsung has many patents that the public isn’t aware of, or at least until they’re approved, and one of them is for an ‘electronic device’ that was recently published by the USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office) on October 29, 2020. This smartphone-like device was also included in the database of the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Office) for worldwide protection of the patented technology. The patent sketches reveal that is has multiple screens that enclose the entire device with a display surface.

Samsung Display filed a design patent with the KIPO (Korean Intellectual Property Office) that was just published on July 2020 and it includes eight product sketches that could possibly be the next Galaxy Z Fold 3 smartphone. It features a dual-hinge form factor that is comprised of three separate displays. When completely opened, you have a tablet-like device, but regardless of the configuration, there is always at least one usable display.
Bring the cinema experience home with Samsung’s The Premiere projector, which is available in up to 130″ and 120″ models – the LSP9T and LSP7T respectively. The former is touted as the world’s first HDR10+ certified projector with triple laser technology, which means it’s capable of delivering incredible contrast details as the user watches from bright to dark scenes with a peak brightness of up to 2,800 ANSI lumens. There’s also a Filmmaker Mode that lets you enjoy watching movies as director intended.
