Ever wish you could video call someone directly from your Tesla vehicle? Well, your wish has been answered as Zoom video conferencing for the Model 3, Model Y as well as the latest Model S and Model X vehicles has just been unveiled. Very few details have been leaked thus far, but from the short video demo, we can see that calls are launched from the calendar.
One thing not mentioned was if Zoom calls would require your smartphone or tablet’s cellular connection rather than use Tesla’s Premium Connectivity. Unfortunately, you will not be able to make Zoom calls while driving, only when the car is not in motion. Whatever the case may be, adding this new feature will definitely help out those who just can’t make it home or to the office in time for a meeting.
