Can a tuned Toyota Supra beat a heavily modified Nissan Silvia S15 in a drag racing showdown? CarWow wanted to find out and both vehicles are definitely not pushovers in any kind of race. Starting off, the Toyota Supra’s 3.0L inline-six engine has been fitted with a new turbocharger, downpipes and an exhaust system. When those are combined with an ECU tune, it makes 600 hp.
As for the Nissan Silvia S15, around $102,073 USD was spent in mods, most of it went to the 2.0L engine that has been bored out to 2.2L. Plus, a massive new turbo replaces the factory unit, enabling the vehicle to make 700 hp, a big step up from the original 247 hp. Let’s just say that the Supra’s 8-speed automatic transmission is much quicker off the line, but we won’t spoil the races fr you.Toyot
