Rich’s custom widebody Honda S2000 may look like any other that you’d see on the show floor of Tokyo Auto Salon, but underneath the hood, you’ll find a Dodge Viper-sourced V10 engine. That’s right, a naturally-aspirated 8.3L V10 engine making 510 hp and 535 lb-ft of torque, mated to a 6-speed sequential gearbox.
The mods didn’t just stop at the widebody kit and engine, as you’ll also find an upgraded double-adjustable Penske suspension, AP Racing brakes, and even a Ford Explorer rear end with a Wavetrac gear-driven limited-slip differential. There’s no word yet when (or if) we’ll see a video of this beast on the track.

I’ve always liked the S2000 from the very start, seen a whack of V8 swaps which were beautifully done but this by far takes the top for me!
I was a little conflicted with the L88 cowl when I first saw it but I also love the nod to automotive history. Everything in this car is perfect and purpose built and that V10 sounds like a match made in heaven for the S2000!,” said one commenter.
