Yamaha wanted to evoke the feeling of an open-top car, while adding a new Kando-filled driving experience with its three-wheel steering. Its human-centric packaging was obtained from the level of controllability felt when changing the center point of the vehicle’s turning circle during the in-phase and counter-phase of the rear wheel. Plus, the user can easily select a manual mode for rear-wheel steering for additional thrills.
