This ultra rare 2007 Saleen S7 LM is just one of three examples made between 2017 to 2019. Now you might be wondering how a 2007 model could be made between 2017 to 2019, and the answer is that it was recommissioned to LM specifications by Saleen in 2018, and given serial number LM-007.
Power comes from a factory upgraded twin-turbocharged 7.0L V8 engine making 1,000 hp with tuning capabilities to 1,300 hp, mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. Its carbon fiber chassis, race-derived suspension, and mid-engine design make the Saleen S7 LM perfect for track days. It’s expected to fetch between $900,000 to $1,100,000 at the RM Sotheby’s auction in Phoenix, Arizona on January 24.

Like the legendary names attached to America’s great racing sports cars, Steve Saleen will be remembered as a tuner, racer, and builder of motor cars who showed the world what was possible when American horsepower and ingenuity collided. Today, his creation remains as unique and awe-inspiring as the day it was first introduced. This example shows 3,688 miles since its creation as LM-007,” said RM Sotheby’s.
