Only 400 Ferrari Enzo vehicles were made during its production run from 2002 to 2004, while a total of 62 Maserati MC12s exist in the world. Both are highly desirable supercars, but which one is the fastest in a straight line? The Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles pit both of them against each other in the ultimate supercar drag racing showdown.
Both supercars are powered by a naturally-aspirated 6.0L V12 engine, with the Enzo making 651 hp and 486 lb-ft of torque and the MC12 producing 621 hp and 481 lb-ft of torque, mated to a 6-speed automated manual transmission. The similarities don’t stop there either, as both vehicles weigh about the same, or 3,263-pounds and 3,300-pounds respectively. Let’s just say that you won’t be disappointed in the performance of either.
