Alef Model A Flying Car FAA Certification
Alef Aeronautics has received limited FAA certification for their Model A flying car. This two-seat all-electric vehicle is not only suited for standard roads, but it also has vertical takeoff and landing capabilities.

It has up to a 200-mile range on a full charge on the street, or 110-miles when flying. The cabin can be configured for one or two seats, as the chassis rotates 90-degrees and stays level as it moves forward. So far, the company has two full-sized prototype vehicles for testing, but there’s no word yet on when or if it will go into production. However, Alef Aeronautics is taking deposits for the $300,000 flying car now.

Alef Model A Flying Car FAA Certification

We’re excited to receive this certification from the FAA. It allows us to move closer to bringing people an environmentally friendly and faster commute, saving individuals and companies hours each week. This is a one small step for planes, one giant step for cars,” said Jim Dukhovny, CEO of Alef.
