Alef Aeronautics has received limited FAA certification for their Model A flying car. This two-seat all-electric vehicle is not only suited for standard roads, but it also has vertical takeoff and landing capabilities.
It has up to a 200-mile range on a full charge on the street, or 110-miles when flying. The cabin can be configured for one or two seats, as the chassis rotates 90-degrees and stays level as it moves forward. So far, the company has two full-sized prototype vehicles for testing, but there’s no word yet on when or if it will go into production. However, Alef Aeronautics is taking deposits for the $300,000 flying car now.
