Have you been waiting for Apple Glass? The long rumored augmented reality glasses that first leaked quite a while back? Well, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says they could be launching some time in 2022. When worn, they would be able to overlay a digital image on top of one for the user’s local environment.
A recently uncovered patent teases that Apple’s AR glasses could use a transparent display, which combines a display panel with an optical coupler. Yet other patents reveals that the glasses could use similar technologies, like using an iPhone or iPad to display an AR or VR view without the use of a special headset. Industrial designer Antonio De Rosa shows us what such a device could look like if they were styled after Steve Jobs’ favorite glasses, the Lunor Classic PP.
