We’re just 9-days away from Apple’s ‘Far Out’ event where the iPhone 14 is expected to be revealed, but apparently, there are prototype units out in the wild already. One such prototype appears to be in a new color-shifting purple color. What we do know is that the iPhone 14 will be offered in 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch OLED Super Retina XDR display sizes.

Other features include Apple’s A15 Bionic chip, 6GB of LPDDR 4X RAM, WiFi 6E connectivity, satellite-based emergency features that enables users to send messages even in areas with no service, and a hyper efficient 5G chip for extending battery life. How can a 5G chip extend battery life? Well, the one found in the iPhone 14 is allegedly manufactured using TSMC’s 6nm process, which means a smaller chip with lower power consumption. Their 6nm RF process allows the chip to use less power on both sub-6GHz and mmWave 5G bands while still providing excellent performance.
