Featuring a large magnetic ball-socket joint that allows it to twist and contort itself around any obstacles in its way. The airless tires ensure that you won’t be left in the middle of nowhere with a flat just in case you should run over something.
Some practical applications include construction, geological research, and even agriculture. Since it is fully autonomous, an operator can set a path, and once completed, return to base. BEND draws power from a compact battery that can quickly be replaced, or if need be, have a drone deliver one to a remote location.
