When you think of the 2JZ engine, Toyota’s legendary Supra usually comes to mind, but this BMW E30 M3 would beg to differ. This turbocharged inline-six engine now makes at least 1,300hp at the rear wheels, mated to a sequential manual gearbox. Other modifications include Ohlins dampers, Sparco racing seats with four-point harnesses, and a full cage for extra safety.
Even with all the safety gear installed, nothing prepares you for its eye watering acceleration, which easily sees it going from 30 mph – 130 mph in a mere 10-seconds. At the Nurburgring, it managed to hit 163 mph and is terrifying to ride in to say the least. Unlike other vehicles with Supra swaps, this one wasn’t designed to go purely in a straight line at the drag strip.
