Limited to 50-units worldwide, all of which have been accounted for, the BMW Skytop first made its debut at Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este 2024 on the shores of Lake Como, Italy. If you’re wondering why the entire production run has already been sold, it’s because the company only offered them to a list of exclusive customers.

Based on the M8 Competition chassis, the BMW Skytop is powered by a 4.4-liter V8 generating 617 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 3.3 seconds. What we don’t know if just how much those 50 lucky customers paid for the BMW Skytop, nor if it was possible to customize the vehicle.

Thank you for the very positive response around the globe and to the passionate team that worked on the project,” said Adrian van Hooydonk, head of BMW Group Design.
