C5 Corvette Doom Buggy
One auto enthusiast turned their 1999 C5 Corvette Coupe into a bizarre ‘Doom Buggy’, and it could be yours for the right price. Power comes from a 5.7L LS6 V8 engine sourced from a 2004 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 making 405 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.

Other modifications include a custom exhaust system, a Tick Performance clutch master cylinder with remote bleeder, Koni yellow shocks, and Corbeau Forza Sport fixed back bucket seats. This vehicle may not be street legal, but it most certainly would be a nice track car. Bidding is currently at $5,200 USD, with under 12 hours left in the auction. More information here.

It’s been extensively modified for the track…Additionally, most of what made up this Corvette’s body and interior has been removed, while a wooden cargo bed now sits where the trunk once was. I love this thing – and it’s offered with the excitement of no reserve, which should make for a thrilling auction close!,” said Doug DeMuro, Founder of Cars&Bids.
