First Chevy Corvette C8 Stingray
Barrett-Jackson received a $3-million bid for the very first 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray C8 to roll off the production line at its January auction in Scottsdale, Arizona, with all proceeds being given to a Detroit educational charity. This mid-engined C8 Corvette with VIN 001 has the Z51 Performance package and the 495-hp 6.2-liter LT2 V8 engine.

The vehicle also comes equipped black exterior, black seats with red trim, red seat belts, GT2 seats, a removable roof panel, rear spoiler, and performance data recorder. Winning bidder Rick Hendrick has the option of taking delivery of his new mid-engine coupe at the Corvette plant in Bowling Green, Kentucky, complete with a hosted tour at the Corvette Museum, a Letter of Authenticity, as well as a unique piece of artwork.
