Electric KIA EV6 vs Ferrari F355 Drag Racing
Can a modern electric crossover SUV take on a classic supercar? CarWow also wondered the same and actually did something about it. They pit a new KIA EV6 against the iconic Ferrari F355 in a drag racing showdown for the ages. At 4,608-pounds, the KIA EV6 is powered by two electric motors, one for each axle, that generate a combined 325 horsepower and 446 pound-feet of torque.

Now the 2,976-pound Ferrari F355 would probably be the first choice for many to win a drag race, especially since it’s powered by a naturally-aspirated 3.5L V8 making 380 hp and 265 lb-ft of torque, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. However, you’d be surprised by the fight the KIA EV6 puts up against one of the most famous supercars ever. Without giving too much away, let’s just say that no KIA EV6 owner should back down from a race at the drag strip.
