Former F1 driver Gerhard Berger’s Ferrari F512M was stolen during the San Marino Grand Prix held at Italy’s Imola circuit in April, 1995. It was recovered in London more than 28-years later.
The London Metropolitan Police’s Organized Vehicle Crime Unit discovered the car had been shipped to Japan shortly after being stolen until it was shipped to the UK some time in late 2023. This is when authorities took action to prevent it from being exported yet again.
