Ferrari F40 Supercar Italy Legacy Tour
If you happened to see a group of Ferrari F40 supercars parading through Italy recently, it was for the first Ferrari Legacy Tour. It took place between September 27-30 and took the vehicles through several small towns, the Apennine Mountains, and then right down to Maranello.

At the finish line, all of the owners were able to test out their vehicles at Ferrari’s Fiorano test track and perform an acceleration run after leaving HQ. A total of 1,311 Ferrari F40 vehicles were produced between 1987-1992, all of them delivered new finished in Rosso Corsa red. Power comes from a twin-turbocharged 2.9L V8 engine making 471 hp and 426 lb-ft of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Its body was designed by Pininfarina and featured panels made of Kevlar, carbon fiber, as well as aluminum for its strength.
