Genesis GV60 Mountain Intervention Vehicle MIV Concept Davos
Rugged, yet practical, the Genesis GV60 Mountain Intervention Vehicle (MIV) concept made its public debut at Davos 2025 in Switzerland this week. This purpose-built EV was specially designed for rescue operations in rugged terrains and challenging weather conditions, just like the ones found around the Swiss Alps.

It’s based on the Genesis GV60 and was inspired by small unit support vehicles (SUSVs). Power comes from two electric motors generating a combined 483 hp with Boost Mode and 516 lb-ft of torque. The MIV concept also features a vehicle-to-load (V2L) system that allows it to supply power to auxiliary devices. Other features include snow tracks, sports seats, medical supplies, emergency communication and warning systems that support mountain rescue operations in extreme conditions.
