Genesis introduced two stunning concept cars at the KINTEX convention center in Goyang, Korea: the X Gran Coupe Concept and the X Gran Convertible Concept. They are the first two vehicles in their “Unfold a New Era of Genesis” initiative as the brand celebrates its 10th anniversary and milestone of serving over 1.3 million customers worldwide.
The X Gran Coupe Concept draws inspiration the flagship G90 sedan and features a unique interior with Mediterranean olive tree influences, including olive wood accents as well as leather tanned using wastewater from Italian olive oil production. Aesthetically, it includes the signature Two-Line headlights extending to the Crest Grille, a streamlined windshield, and a sleek low-profile cabin.

The X Gran Convertible Concept is also based on the G90 and boasts an open-top experience that blends luxury with a connection to the environment. Its design draws inspiration from fine wines, sporting an exterior color reminiscent of pressed grapes and an interior echoing the rich hues of Cabernet Sauvignon from Italy’s Livorno region. Similar to its closed-top counterpart it features the Two-Line headlights, a bold grille, and aerodynamic elements, but with a distinctive soft-top and extended beltline.

We aim to seize this opportunity as a launchpad for a new decade, showcasing models that embody Genesis’ pursuit of high-performance technology and future luxury design,” said Mike Song, Global Head of Genesis.
