UAE-based W Motors unveils the GHIATH Smart Patrol, a police vehicle designed for the streets of Dubai. It’s touted as one of the world’s most advanced security vehicles, complete with roof-mounted police lights, LED-equipped grille / tailgate, and multiple surveillance cameras.
W Motors’ GHIATH Smart Patrol is the first product vehicle under their Special Projects Division, a fully integrated unit that aims to deliver mobility solutions focusing purely on security, defense and smart technologies. It appears to be based on the Nissan Patrol, which is powered by a 5.6L V8 engine making up to 428 hp and 413 lb-ft of torque, mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission.
