Sure, the Honda Ridgeline is currently just a midsize pickup truck built using a unibody frame, a transverse-mounted engine and in a crew-cab short-box configuration, but what if you crossed one with the Halo Warthog? You’d probably get something like this futuristic Honda Ridgeline EV. The M12 Force Application Vehicle (M12-FAV), also known as the Warthog, is basically a fast attack vehicle serving as the United Nations Space Command Armed Forces’ primary joint light tactical ground vehicle in the Halo games.

Created by industrial designer Rene Garcia who has worked at Industrial Light and Magic (ILM), this vehicle started out as something you’d see in a Dakar rally, complete with a winch-hook up front, suicide doors, and even an expandable truck bed. Step inside, and you’re greeted with a sweeping OLED panel that both the driver as well as passenger can use. Taking a road trip with just two people? The front seats can recline all the way back to form a makeshift bed of sorts.
