The all-new Liberty Walk Ferrari F40 was unveiled at the 2023 Tokyo Auto Salon this weekend, and for purists, the vehicle is a tragedy, as most of the original body parts have been modified in some way. For starters, it boasts a revamped front cowl, side skirts, cowl duct, light cover, and wide fenders.
You won’t find the original pop-up headlights either, as the new units now sport a clear plastic cover over them. Fortunately, Liberty Walk did not touch the factory twin-turbocharged 2.9L V8 engine making 471 hp and 426 lb-ft of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. There’s no word yet on pricing or availability, although previous Liberty Walk Ferrari kits retailed for between $12,000 – $25,000+ depending on the material chosen (Dry Carbon Fiber, Exposed Carbon Fiber, FRP, etc.).
