It’s not everyday that you see a Rolls-Royce Ghost, much less one as a police vehicle. However, that is exactly what you’ll see Miami Beach Police officers driving around the city now.
Why? It’s not an impounded vehicle, but rather one being sponsored by a local dealership complete with a revamped radiator grille, door sills, a roof-mounted light bar, a siren, as well as an intercommunication system in the cabin. Power comes from a twin-turbocharged 6.75L V12 engine making 563 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, enabling it to accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 4.3 seconds. What we don’t know is if they added a partition between the front / rear seating.
