If Microsoft ever collaborated with LEGO for a game console, it might look something like this Xbox Series S concept by NAK Studio. Put simply, the top is now a baseplate that can be used with a variety of LEGO pieces to create a design of your choice. Companies could also use this for marketing by building one-off designs to give away on social media.
As for limitations, there really shouldn’t be any, as the sky is the limit when it comes to what one can build with LEGO. Now the one issue we see is that the baseplate may somewhat hinder cooling as all of the bricks are non porous, which might hinder airflow during intense gaming sessions. The only thing it’s missing are matching controllers.
