The Ferrari Daytona SP3 is already one of Ferrari’s most exclusive models, a limited-run tribute to 1960s racing prototypes powered by a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 producing 829 horsepower in factory form. NOVITEC, the German specialist known for fine-tuning Maranello’s finest, just unveiled their package for this rare Icona-series car, which includes subtle but significant changes that improve performance while maintaining the original design language.
The NOVITEC engineers focused on the exhaust system, essentially finding a way to get more power out of the V12. Their high-performance arrangement, which includes metal catalysts and thermal insulation to keep the engine compartment cool, reduces back pressure and improves gas flow. The result is a 28 horsepower increase, bringing the overall output to an impressive 868 horsepower (638 kW). You can feel the improved throttle response and liveliness across the rpm range; it’s almost as if the car has sprung to life. You may also change the exhaust sound from smooth and muted to a full-fledged V12 cry, much like in the days of classic racing engines. For those who desire a little extra luxury, the exhaust can even be finished in 999 fine gold plating, which is quite the treat.

They did, however, make a few visual changes, with the wheels in particular receiving a significant improvement. NOVITEc has collaborated with Vossen to create a collection of bespoke forged alloys available in three different patterns and a variety of finishes. The staggered setup uses 9.5Jx20-inch fronts fitted with 265/30 ZR20 tires and 12.5Jx21-inch rears with 345/30 ZR21 tires. They’re lightweight, sturdy, and look great, which is exactly what you need in a car capable of handling the Daytona SP3.

If you want to go even more custom, NOVITEC’s craftsmen will collaborate with you to design a completely personalized interior, utilizing premium leather and Alcantara to create a genuinely unique place. Every stitch, panel, and detail is personalized in their German factory.

As expected, the performance stats haven’t changed much: 2.85 seconds from 0 to 62 mph and a top speed of more than 211 mph. NOVITEC has simply fine-tuned the automobile to get more out of it, adding refinement and presence. You can see they kept the Daytona SP3’s legacy in mind, since this is a car that still looks and feels like a 1960s car, but with a little more power.
