Opel Experimental EV Concept
Set to make its public debut at IAA Mobility in Munich (September 5-10), the futuristic Opel Experimental EV concept is basically a battery-electric crossover designed with various aero-efficiency features, a spacious, illuminated interior with lightweight seats as well as a next-generation head-up display.

Instead of using chrome, the Opel Experimental’s exterior lighting and bold contrasting graphics add personality to its already impressive proportions. The battery-electric crossover is based on a Stellantis BEV platform, complete with electric all-wheel drive and fully integrated 180-degree cameras on the C-pillars. You won’t find traditional screens in the cabin, but rather augmented projection technology supported by artificial intelligence and natural voice control.

The Opel Experimental gives an outlook on upcoming models and technologies, on the future design, even on a new era and the future of the brand. This stunning concept car represents a guiding light and showcases once again Opel’s pioneering spirit. Our new Opel Experimental gives a more extreme interpretation of our Bold and Pure design philosophy. It gives shape to our vision of the future. Many of the elements of its design and the mindset behind it will be visible in future production vehicles,” said Florian Huettl, Opel CEO.
