Oppo Reno Ace Gundam Edition Smartphone
Gundam fans rejoice! Oppo has unveiled a limited edition Gundam 40th anniversary edition Reno Ace and only 30,000-units will be made available worldwide. The phone and its packaging are themed after the RX-78-2 White Mobile Suit. One of its best features is the 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 charging technology that can fully charge its 4,000mAh battery in a mere 30 minutes.


Other features include a 6.5-inch (2,400 x 1,080 resolution) 90Hz AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chipset, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, an in-display fingerprint reader, a rear quad camera setup (48-megapixel main camera / 13-megapixel f/2.4 telephoto camera / 8-megapixel 116-degree ultra-wide camera / 2-megapixel monochrome camera), UFS 3.0 fast storage and stereo speakers. This smartphone is being touted for gaming, as it offers 135Hz touch sampling rate to help gamers aim / respond more accurately and a “4D” vibration provides immersive haptic feedback.

Pre-orders for the Gundam edition begin October 21st with a November 11th launch. As for pricing, it actually comes in at a somewhat reasonable $506. Or, if you’re really into gaming, make sure to shell out $42 for the Unicorn Gundam edition C1 attachable gamepad.
