An Oscar Mayer Wienermobile crashed on a Chicago highway after hitting a car Monday morning along Interstate 294. Its driver reportedly lost control and over-corrected, causing it to flip onto its side near the Chicago suburb of Oak Brook, Illinois.
Fortunately, there were no injuries reported after the crash. However, the cleanup effort prompted the closure of the right lane of northbound I-294 for more than an hour. An Oscar Mayer spokesperson, which operates several Wienermobiles, said the company is grateful that everybody involved is safe and there were no injuries.
