Shaquille O’Neal wanted a Lamborghini Gallardo in 2008, but one straight from the factory just wasn’t going to work. So, he had to buy two of them, with one being brand new, and then have a shop combine them into the stretched example you see here.
That’s right, Shaq’s Lamborghini Gallardo is actually two of them combined into one, stretching the original around 1-feet. What ended up happening to the vehicle? Well, he accidentally spun the Gallardo on a trip to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and that event caused him to sell the vehicle to a fellow NBA star, Amare Stoudemire, for just $110,000 USD. This is a considerable discount to the $600,000+ he paid to have it custom built by the Gaffoglio family.

The reason it cost so much was I bought a brand-new Lamborghini and then I bought an old, beat-up Lamborghini, and in order for me to fit into it, they had to chop them both in half and then superglue it together,” said the former NBA superstar.
