Automotive enthusiast Chay Denne, also known as President Chay online, built what could quite possibly the the world’s smallest camper van, or at least one that you can actually sleep in.
It all started when Chay stumbled upon a Facebook Marketplace ad for a 1999 Subaru Sambar that was imported into the US, complete with right hand drive steering. The 2,380 pound van was then torn apart before plywood was added to the floor and then spray painting the rear windows black to hide the wooden frame. After countless hours of fabrication, Chay and his friend ended up with a camper van that is comfortable enough for one adult, but two may be pushing it.
