Top Gear is no stranger to hypercars, but the Koenigsegg Jesko just might be the quickest one they’ve tested yet. Power comes from a twin-turbocharged 5.0L V8 engine that makes 1,281 hp and 738 lb-ft of torque on normal petrol, or up to 1,603 hp and 1,106 lb-ft of torque on E85 biofuel. Power is sent from a bespoke 9-speed Light Speed Transmission (LST) to the rear wheels, enabling it to hit 60 mph in just 2.5 seconds.
Limited to 125-units and available in Absolut or Attack variants, Top Gear was only able to get their hands on the former, which is designed for top speed as well as everyday driving. This means that there is less aerodynamic bits for downforce and no Triplex damper system. However, this means that you can not only tackle the track, but also take road trips in the Jesko if you should so dare.
