Auto enthusiasts are most likely familiar with the Koenigsegg Jesko, but few know just what it’s capable of. That’s why the automaker decided to take the hyper to the Gotland Ring in Sweden to set a new lap record.
Power comes from a twin-turbocharged 5.0L V8 engine producing 1,600 hp and 1,106 lb-ft of torque on E85 fuel, mated to a 9-speed multi-clutch transmission, enabling the hypercar to hit 62 mph in just 2.5 seconds. The variant you see in this record setting video is the ‘Attack’ spec, which comes equipped with special body parts designed to generate grip through corners. Unfortunately, all of this power comes at a hefty price, or $2.84 million USD for the ‘Absolut’ spec that eliminates drag for a higher top speed.
