Toyota GR86 vs Supra MK4 Drag Racing
Sure, the Toyota GR86 is newer, but does it have enough power to defeat the legendary Supra MK4 in a drag racing showdown? CarWow wanted to find out so they pit these two vehicles against each other, with the former packing a naturally aspirated 2.4L flat-four engine making 234 hp and 192 lb-ft of torque, mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Now the Toyota Supra Turbo MK4 has withstood the test of time with its turbocharged 3.0L inline-six engine generating 326 hp and 320 lb-ft of torque, but has one drawback, its 3,285-pound curb weight compared to the GR86’s 2,809-pounds. We also have to mention that this drag racing showdown took place in wet conditions, to even with the power and weight differences, things evened out in the end.
