Recently, the Toyota GR GT3 Concept, first unveiled at the Tokyo Auto Salon a couple of years ago, was spied testing at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. Spy videos and reports confirm a V8 engine, likely a twin-turbo 4.0-liter unit, paired with a hybrid system. The combustion engine alone is rumored to produce around 720 hp, with the hybrid assist pushing the total output to approximately 900 hp. The vehicle itself is built on an aluminum chassis with carbon-fiber bodywork, balancing lightweight construction and rigidity for both road as well as track performance.
