Porsche 911 Turbo S vs BMW M3 Drag Racing
We all know the Porsche 911 Turbo S is blistering fast, but is a tuned BMW M3 quick enough to beat it in a series of drag races? The former packs a twin-turbocharged 3.8L flat-six engine generating 650 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque, mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission sending power to all wheels, enabling it to hit 60 mph in just 2.6-seconds.

At 3,924-pounds, the BMW M3 Competition is definitely no slouch. Featuring a tuned twin-turbocharged 3.0L inline-six engine making 750 hp and 663 lb-ft of torque, paired with an 8-speed M-Sport automatic gearbox. The BMW M3 was quick off the line in the first face and never looked back, but the Porsche 911 Turbo S wasn’t too far behind. However, the second and third races were a bit closer.
