Can the all-new 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona R/T beat a Tesla Model Y in a drag race? Well, on paper, it most certainly should give the electric SUV a run for its money with two electric motors generating 456 hp and 404 lb-ft of torque.
As for the Tesla Model Y, it also draws power from two electric motors, but these generate a combined 425 hp and 364 lb-ft of torque. We won’t spoil the results, but let’s just say that Elon’s creation will surprise most, as one would imagine an all-electric muscle car beating out a family sedan. One thing to note is that the Charger Daytona R/T will cost you around $20,000 more than the Tesla Model Y Long Range.
