Created by French designer Ora ïto for AccorHotels, the Flying Nest is a hotel experience unlike any other that you’ve probably experienced. Rather than traditional towers, this hotel consists of individual shipping container modules joined together by their terraces to seamlessly blend nature and some modern luxuries. The entire structure can be fabricated in just one day, and can easily be moved around to different locations.
Each shipping container measures 130-square-feet and comes complete with its own living area, bathroom, terrace and a window-facing bed so you always wake up with views of the French Alps or wherever this hotel has moved. To ensure coziness, the designer made sure to cover the metal containers with wood panelings.

Previously, it was located at the Avoriaz 1800 ski resort, and a new location has yet to be determined, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see it back here during this winter season. However, regardless of where Flying Nest ends up, a one-night stay will run you around $170+ USD.
