The Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 hybrid supercar is already sold out and the first deliveries are expected some time next year. However, one pre-production unit has been spotted in the wild, most likely near the company’s factory in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy.
Power comes from a Lamborghini V12 6.5 liter engine, paired with a 48 volt e-motor mounted directly on the gearbox, for a combined output of 803 hp, enabling it to hit 60 mph in a blistering 2.8-seconds, while topping out at 221 mph. As mentioned previously, all 112-units have been sold, but the lucky few had to shell out a whopping $2.64-million USD.

The first Countach has been present in our Centro Stile as a model for some years now. Whenever I look at it, it gives me goose bumps and it serves as the perfect reminder for me and the entire design team to design every future Lamborghini in a visionary and futuristic way. This is an unnegotiable part of our DNA, the essence if you so will. The first Countach shaped the Lamborghini design DNA like no other car; the new Countach translates that unconventional and edgy character into the future,” said Mitja Borkert, Head of Centro Stile.
