Superyachts are nothing new, but Lazzarini Design Studio’s Embryon concept is the first hyper boat we’ve come across. Measuring 79-feet long, this luxurious vessel is powered by hydrogen hybrid powerplant capable of cruising at speeds in excess of 60 knots.
What immediately catches your eye is its translucent hull, which has been handcrafted from dry carbon fiber. For added privacy, this section boasts a mirrored finish that prevents bystanders from seeing what’s going on inside. The hydrogen hybrid powerplant consists of two MAN V-12 2,000 hp engines and a single electric 1,260 hp engine, enabling it to hit a top speed of 65 knots. It can comfortably accommodate 8 passengers, complete with four ensuite cabins: a large master suite, a VIP and two double rooms. There’s no word yet on pricing or availability, but considering its features, it should be priced well north of 7-figures.
